Senior Director, Product
Remote (U.S.) — Full Time
The Cari Network is building a blockchain-based payment system powering real-time, 24/7 movement of digital money across the traditional finance and digital asset ecosystems. We're creating an entirely new category of financial infrastructure that brings cash on chain through tokenization while powering the full spectrum of payments for our network — banks, digital asset market participants, and, most importantly, the customers they serve.
We're looking for a Senior Director of Product to lead product strategy and execution across our core bank-facing platform. This is a senior leadership role for a builder who operates at both the strategic and execution layers — setting direction one moment, writing an epic or resolving a dependency the next.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you'll own the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for the platform capabilities that connect participating banks to the Cari Network — from API integration and operational tooling to the fiat settlement infrastructure that synchronizes on-chain token activity with underlying bank deposit positions. You'll support setting strategic direction while personally driving hands-on execution: writing product requirements, prioritizing initiatives with engineering, engaging directly with network banks, and resolving the kinds of cross-functional dependencies that only a senior product leader can unblock.
At our stage, leadership and execution are inseparable. You'll mentor and develop a team of product managers, but you'll also be an individual contributor on the work that matters most. There are no existing products to iterate on — you'll define and ship foundational infrastructure from MVP through production deployment.
What You'll Do
Own the product strategy and roadmap across three core domains in the platform: the API integration layer connecting participating banks to the network, the operational portal, and the interbank fiat settlement process.
Serve as a hands-on individual contributor on product requirements definition, while reviewing and governing PRDs produced by your team.
Lead and develop a team of product managers, providing day-to-day guidance on execution quality, stakeholder management, and prioritization.
Engage directly with participating banks and ecosystem partners to understand product requirements, translating and prioritizing those inputs into well-defined specifications that Engineering can build to.
Serve as the senior product point of contact for participating banks on integration and platform feedback.
Work with Cari’s Legal and Risk teams to ensure features across all three domains satisfy regulatory, compliance, and legal obligations.
Drive alignment across internal Cari stakeholders on scope, dependencies, and delivery sequencing.
Define success metrics and monitor performance post-launch.
Support pilot bank integration and go-live, including documentation, training, and issue resolution.
Drive sprint planning, backlog governance, and cross-team coordination.
As requested, support business development and marketing efforts with product expertise.
